I’ve been looking at the long-term chart of the USD/JPY pair today and it looks as if the long-term downward trend, which has been in place since the middle of 2007, could now be over. There are two reasons why I think this may be the case.
First of all if you look at the weekly chart below you can see that if you draw a long-term trendline plotting all the high points, the price has finally broken above this trend line, which could be highly significant.

It’s been another decent trading week this week with two winning trades out of three. As in previous weeks, I’ve been looking to go long on the GBP/USD and EUR/USD pairs (despite the Supertrend indicator still being red on the daily chart) as I think they are both likely to turn upwards now, and for the most part this has proved to be a profitable strategy.

Bill Poulos has recently posted a video which provides you with a day-by-day analysis of a recent trade that he opened on the USD/CAD pair. It is based on one of the end-of-day trading methods included in his popular Forex Profit Accelerator course.

Beware Forex Fraud

Just like anything else, where you have money being made you have scammers.  Trading Forex at home as a business is a legitimate way of making money but you have to swim the waters that are loaded with unscrupulous people.  In this country we have agencies that provide information to arm yourself against the scammers.
I highly advise anyone that is going to trade the markets to do your homework and involve yourself only with legitimate and ethical companies.  Especially avoid those pushy brokers that seem to offer up deals that …
