Beware Forex Fraud

31 January 2009 77 views No Comment

Just like anything else, where you have money being made you have scammers.  Trading Forex at home as a business is a legitimate way of making money but you have to swim the waters that are loaded with unscrupulous people.  In this country we have agencies that provide information to arm yourself against the scammers.

I highly advise anyone that is going to trade the markets to do your homework and involve yourself only with legitimate and ethical companies.  Especially avoid those pushy brokers that seem to offer up deals that seem to good to be true.

With brokers be very mindful of the spread that they charge for executing trades.  That spread is a legitimate business expense but you want to minimize it as much as possible.  Do the math.

The CFTC has a page that provides some pretty good advice.  If you would like to check it out click here.
